More than a bead filter!! What makes it different from a bead filter and oh-so loveable? It can go for greatly extended times before flow slows down. Customers have reported going for a month (with only a 2.5 model) with no slow down in flow or rise in pressure of the AlphaONE unit, while still giving nice clear water (we do not advocate going for a month before backwashing, the best thing for your fish and your water quality is to backwash the filter often and remove the debris before it breaks down biologically.)

ALPHAONE LH FILTERS

On the AlphaONE LH the water bypasses the Multiport valve on the regular filtration mode and only travels through the Multiport valve on the "Backwash" mode, thus giving you the least restrictive filter available. On the AlphaONE LH we reworded the internals slightly for even greater flow through. This allows the use of a smaller, lower amperage pump to move the same amount of water. The AlphaONE LH was designed for the pond keeper that has energy efficiency as a top priority!

ALPHAONE 9.3 MEGA FILTERS

The use of 3" piping and filtration equipment greatly helps you filter large amounts of water easily without the use of energy hogging pumps, saving you lots of Green at the electric meter. Filter ponds up to 30,000 gallons through 9 cu. ft. of the industry's most popular media, the AlphaBioONE media. The Multiport valve on this filter is huge and boasting true 3" ports at every opening. You can also have this filter on our new complete AlphaONE 9.3 PLUS System which includes the AlphaONE 9.3 Mega filter, ArtesianPro 3" pump and our Zapp Pure ZP40.3 stainless steel High Intensity UV all preplumbed together on all weather pads.

ALPHAONE X2 - FORMERLY MEDUSA

What was the Legendary Medusa is now known as the X2.
We changed the name to reflect the many changes we have made to this most unusual filter. We also added a second size to this line up, the 6.0 model for ponds up to 20,000 gal. The tank and internals new design all reflect a filter that has advanced to the point it was only right to give it a new name. The X2 provides even greater flows with less restriction than the Medusa. The X2 solves the age old problem of how to filter a large pond while only using one filter.
